Tattoo Artist: Amanda Wachob

Amanda began her tattoo career in 1998 and she’s a formally trained artist.  Her artwork is has been shown in various galleries and museums around the world. Her artwork is primarily abstract and conceptual.  She’s able to overlap her painting style with her tattoo work which makes her unique amongst tattoo artists.

She’s able to make her tattoo machine produce a watercolor effect on the skin.

She’s also involved with a series of tattoos that are created by using distilled water instead of tattoo ink.  This means the tattoo is not permanent and the design will slowly fade.  I think this is a bit sad as a beautiful piece of work will eventually disappear entirely.
