Judy Parker is a talented female tattoo artist who is currently tattooing in the state of California. She is drawn to aquatic topics such as the octopus you see here.
I was fortunate enough to watch her do a very large mermaid on a man’s leg. She was making an offer of this huge tattoo for $250.00 – as long as she could do the mermaid only. Her technique kept me glued to her for quite a long time as it was unlike others I had watched. She did her work at arm’s length and seemed to have no issues with seeing her work although most artists get their eyes closer. And her tattoo machine was at a very extreme angle. She used a shader for the majority and it turned out beautiful. The guy got quite a deal – a gorgeous tattoo from a very high profile artist.
