Tattoo Artist: Yang Zhuo
Yang Zhuo practices his art in Beijing. Although you cannot tell from his skill level,
Yang has only been tattooing since 2003. He says that the art of tattooing came easily to him although he quickly learned that to do really good tattoo work is not so easy. He attended art college but didn’t take his studies seriously which he now regrets. Many of his pieces reflect his Chinese heritage. His wish is that he will eventually not have to rely on tattooing to survive – but instead be and interest and an outlet for his creativity. Yang participates in many conventions. The woman he eventually married started out as one of his customers. Yang shows he has mastered color as well as black and gray work.
