This 25 year old artist from Deltona Florida worked hard once he came to the conclusion he wanted to be a tattoo artist. Steve Roberts tried his hand on a construction job while also beginning an apprenticeship on the weekends and every evening. After a couple of years, he was able to quit the construction job and devote his attention to his art. He says his father was his greatest artistic influence. He was always impressed with his father’s talent and feels that helped shape his future in an art related field.
Another influence on Robert’s style is Disney animation. You can see the impact of companies such as Pixar and DreamWorks in some of Robert’s tattoos. He has the ability to give a very SOFT effect as he blends from shadows to highlighted areas but yet his colors are vibrant and solid.
Steve Roberts sticks close to Florida but plans on attending more conventions and traveling more extensively in the future.
